Oakley is for Dreamboats

Last night, Lex and I were lucky enough to attend an Oakley fiesta at the Nicholas Robinson Gallery (that's where Kim works!) As you might expect, it was totally rad.

These are the free sunglasses they gave us. When you got your bag of presents the sunglasses came with these awesome paint sharpies to color on the shades with. And, even better, the sharpies were tied together with Oakley croakey's in a variety of neon colors.

Mine were actually given to me by Mitch and they happen to be covered in hearts and say "Shannon Rocks" and "4 a good time" on the inside, but I think it only adds to their flair.

Even better than the sunglasses though, they had a super sweet silkscreen section set up where you could get free t-shirts made. The line to get them done was a bummer, but luckily our dear friend Mitch knew Mark the silkscreen bouncer and we got to cut the line.

This is Mitch, our facilitator:

This is Mark, our hero:

These are the shirts we got made. Lex designed hers and it has the image of a chicken pecking (aka boinking) a dead rat on her butt. Mark designed mine so it's awesome by default.

The whole party was not only super fun, but also a great place for people watching. Basically everywhere you turned was Babe Alert City. But that wasn't the only thing to be stoked about, it was also in a great space with neat art and tubular tunes.

Here is me hanging out with the art:
